I watched Break Up Club for the 2nd time today. This is my favorite romance film! I can’t say how much I can exactly relate to it. Not to mention that the girl falls for a Japanese graffiti artist.
It hit me even more this time due to everything that’s been going on in my life. The main chick has my personality and state of mind. Joe is like my former lover, no real career yet, just living with me and focusing all his love on me « also has the same personality + his best friend is into film! Lies Hayama is like the Japanese graffiti kid I fell for in Hawaii. This is so ironic if I must say… I used to film and write lots of notes like in the movie to capture the memories. But yeah~ I now understand it all and more to why I took the actions that I did… It recaptured my heart…

This song means a great deal to me. Always used to listen to this in the morning on the way to work to Manhattan on the F train. An MC always spits thoughts so clear on how I feel. Do I have a mentality of a man or something?! Lol, because I’ve felt dominate for the shit I’ve fought in my life. Esp. LOVE. I’d greatly miss someone while with them and felt like it was still a chase. Music really speaks to me if you want to talk about signs. Thinking about it now, maybe that’s why I used to cry when I left Queens.
